Formed in 2019, Bell Bottom Blues has quickly earned a reputation as a standout act in the Pacific Northwest’s tribute scene. Dedicated to honoring the legendary catalog of Eric Clapton—including his work with Cream and Derek and the Dominos—the band delivers electrifying performances that span theaters, casinos, wineries, and private events. 

At the heart of Bell Bottom Blues is vocalist and guitarist Justin Kausal-Hayes, whose years of experience as a performer and bandleader fuel his commitment to recreating Clapton’s iconic sound and emotional depth. He’s joined by Scott Donaldson, a masterful guitarist whose decades of showmanship and technical prowess elevate every performance. Together, they lead a lineup of Seattle’s most accomplished professional musicians.

In 2005, he headed to Nashville, where he honed his craft as a staff writer for Surefire Music Company, penning songs for television, film, commercials, and artists including Taylor Hicks and Highroad Three.

Brian’s songwriting earned national recognition with a CCMA nomination for Single of the Year in 2013, followed by a Gospel Single of the Year nod for his heartfelt track Angel at the Crossroads in 2014. Today, Brian continues to write for a wide range of projects while lighting up stages across the Pacific Northwest with his dynamic three-piece band. Since forming his first band in 2014, Joel Astley has established himself as a powerhouse frontman, harmonica player, singer and songwriter, and currently leads an award winning four-piece band. They tour regularly and perform locally, and all of them appear on numerous recordings. He and this all star lineup have amassed dozens of awards, nominations and other accolades, most recently sweeping the 2025 Washington Blues Society Awards. 

Astley made a splash on the International Blues Music scene with his 2023 debut album, Seattle To Greaseland, which came in at Number 7 on the Blues Billboard Top Ten and received critical acclaim worldwide, and has helped to set Astley on a meteoric rise. He has been a Featured Artist with Lee Oskar Harmonicas since 2023, and is currently working on songs for his next album.
