The True Romans were formed in the mid 2000's by some guys who had been friends for years and were baffled that they weren't in a band together, so they started one! Relying on their varying musical tastes and experience they were off and running in no time, playing hundreds of gigs from clubs to festivals to studio sessions for other artists. They play a wide variety of songs from rock to blues to pop, from the 60's on up to the present. All 3 members of the band are veterans of the Seattle scene and can be seen playing around town in a wide variety of other projects.

JAZZ OVERHAUL is a jazz quartet, led by saxophonist Cliff Colon, that covers rock songs from the renowned Seattle grunge music scene that gave the world Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam. Jazz Overhaul has created arrangements from these classic bands, in addition to other popular music from the past 30 years, and has “overhauled” them to fit into the jazz structure. The group features Jake Sele on keys, Osama Afifi on bass, and D’Vonne Lewis on drums. This isn’t your normal jazz quartet. This is a JAZZ OVERHAUL!

 Rod Cook and Toast has been thrilling audiences around the Pacific NW for over twenty five years performing an eclectic mix of American roots music based in but not restricted to blues. The band consists of Rod Cook, guitar, vocals; Jon Bayless, bass, vocals and Chris Leighton, drums. All three members have an extensive resume and are well respected throughout the Northwest music community. s recorded two albums, 1998's "I Ain't The Fool" and 2006's "Troublemaker." Toast offers an energetic mix of originals and covers encompassing a wide variety of styles.

UMAMI JAZZ FUSION is a Seattle-based 6-piece jazz fusion group playing savory notes, earthy rhythms, and artisanal grooves. Featuring the band’s favorite tracks of the great fusion era and beyond while folding tasty originals into the mix, the band is the brainchild of trumpeter John Sakura (Tamaraw, Full Circle, Type A!) The powerhouse rhythm section, driven by Dave Austin on drums (Michael Powers, Lee Oskar, DoctorfunK), features the funky bass work of Jim Cliff (Richard Marx, Roger Fisher, DoctorfunK) and Leonard Berman’s (Tamaraw, Full Circle, DoctorfunK) stellar guitar. Local journeymen Bruce Laven (Duffy Bishop, The Squirrels, Paul Green) on keyboards and lead vocals, and Scott Adams (Heart, Spike and the Impalers, Type A!) on saxophone round out the ensemble.

 Al Nesbitt and The Alchemy first played at Bakes last July.  They sold out months prior.  On June 15th, they return with a new album that has been recognized internationally as a ‘career defining’ piece work.  Nicholas Hooper, composer for Harry Potter films  ‘The Order of the Phoenix’ and ‘The Half Blood Prince’ has called the album a ‘Moody, swingy, beauty of an album’. 

Joining them this year is Violinist Michael A. Levine whose resume includes Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams and countless others.  Also joining is Keyboardist / Pianist Jonathan Sindelman  who has toured the world with the best musicians in the world, including GooGoosh, many of Frank Zappa’s band members, Frank Gambale and Keith Emerson. This will be an extremely special show and they can’t wait to share the music with everyone in attendance.

A singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Eliot Lewis has toured the world over as a member of the Daryl Hall & John Oates band, as well as a former member of The Average White Band. Eliot has also been the only musician to appear on every episode of Daryl Hall’s popular, "Live From Daryl's House” show all while keeping his own solo career going at a seemingly impossible pace. 

 Over the course of his career he has worked with the music business’ elite including, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Joe Walsh, Sammy Hagar, Todd Rundgren,Train, Cheap Trick, Grace Potter, Squeeze, Rob Thomas, Jason Mraz, Darius Rucker, Gavin DeGraw and many, many others.  Having mastered four instruments over the course of his career; guitar, keyboard, bass and drums, Eliot’s shows will find him moving from one instrument to another. Equally at home in front of 100 or 15,000,
