 As a Seattleite, Anschell had the honor of playing a weekly gig with Northwest jazz legend Floyd Standifer for the two years before his passing. In 2005, Anschell received a Golden Ear Award as the “Northwest Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year,” and in 2006 his trio was named the “Best Northwest Acoustic Jazz Ensemble.” In 2010 and 2011 Anschell was again was named “Northwest Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year,” and in 2011 his CD Figments was named “Northwest Jazz Recording of the Year.” In 2013, he played several concerts with the Seattle Symphony.

Relying on their varying musical tastes and experience they were off and running in no time, playing hundreds of gigs from clubs to festivals to studio sessions for other artists. They play a wide variety of songs from rock to blues to pop, from the 60's on up to the present. All 3 members of the band are veterans of the Seattle scene and can be seen playing around town in a wide variety of other projects.

 Rod Cook and Toast has been thrilling audiences around the Pacific NW for over twenty five years performing an eclectic mix of American roots music based in but not restricted to blues. Al Nesbitt has been a performing guitarist for decades on National and International stages. Since 2018 his focus has primarily been on Acoustic Guitar and pushing those boundaries. 

His playing has been called ‘masterful’ and ‘beautiful’ by listeners, composers and fellow musicians alike.  Leaning on influences like Al DiMeola, John McLaughlin and Jesse Cook to name a few, he continues to balance lush melody with jaw dropping passages building a truly unique listening experience.   

His latest full length album ‘Fantastical Adventures Between the Raindrops’ culminates all of his musical influences of Spanish, Orchestral, Pop and World stylings to bring together a beautifully balanced sonic landscape.

Now, Al will performing the album in its entirety and also a handful of new songs, for live audiences beginning this summer. He’s thrilled to be bringing these songs to life for the first time, in front a live audience.

Multiple award winner for “Best Guitar” and “Best Slide Guitar"and a WA Blues Hall of Fame inductee. The Billy Stapleton Trio plays a wide selection of jazz standards, Rhythm and Blues, Pop and Ballads all in their own style. | Don Wilhelm’s career includes a nine year residency in Paul Allen’s Band that played around the world. Don was founding member of Heart and a cornerstone in The Daily Flash. His playing spans all genre’s and he is a much in demand studio musician. Wilhelm is renowned for playing the perfect bass part and then stealing the show with his melodic bass solos. On vocals Don possesses an amazing range and never shies away from the high notes. A true virtuoso and a NW treasure.   Steve Peterson is best known as the drummer for “The Kingsmen”. He has toured the world and plays a variety of instruments as well as owning his own studio. A gifted composer and producer, Peterson always plays the "perfect part.” An excellent singer in his own right, Steve performs locally in Los Orchids and the Annie Eastwood Quartet, Billy Stapleton’s Powerhouse and the Billy Stapleton Trio.
